While the CX 380 II possesses the usual Sennheiser sound and solid fit, these are poor for sports use. The cables are very thin and fragile and will not stand up to vigorous use. More importantly, the microphonics of the cable are the worst of any IEM I have owned and are wholly unsuitable for sports use (even with the supplied clip). Avoid for sports.

They sound really good, look good the price is even really good.
As for using them for anything but sitting still it isnt going to happen! I bought these to replace an older pair and opted for the in-ear style as i thought it would enable me to stay focussed whilst running. Whilst you are placing them into yuor ears you detect the great sound coming from them. but once you put the other one in the previous headphone has fallen out. I too have tried the different rubber attatchments and none of them work. I find myself constantly having to adjust them.
As for being sweatproof... im yet to be able to run in them long enough to generate any sweat before they just fall out and i give up on them!

I bought the item as a replacement for another pair of Sennheisers (with twist fit).
The CX380 Sport II still fall into the category of - the wire seems very thin and take a while to get used to.
These work out to be very good quality at a very good price (would not pay the RRP as they are not that good).
In summary "they are as good as any other headphones if you find them comfortable" and everyone has a different opinion.

I have had Sennheiser before and loved them.
I recently bought the Sennheiser CX 380 Sport II, now the sound is good has ever, but the connection is rubbish, were it connects to the pin that inserts into the phone, the wires must be loose, the shound breaks up in one ear.
Would not buy these again.

This is the second pair I have purchased. They have excellent sound & fit well in the ear with multiple size plugs. However, when jogging they are do fall out occasionally. In the gym they are great but running outside it can be quite annoying. I still give them a rating of 4 as I cannot seem to find anything better.
