First off. This photo frame is excellent for its size, price and image quality.
It can display slide shows or single images along like you expect.
On the downside the slide show changes the picture every 10 seconds on its longest setting.
Which wont be a problem for some. I like the photos frames that allow you to set it to minutes or even an hours.
Secondly the more annyoying feature if you want to display a single image. You have to selected the device the photo is on and the browse the files system to find the photo you want and then select it. Which isnt a problem until you want to change the photo and have to repeat the whole process again. On most of my other digital photo frames you just pause the slideshow on a photo you like.
While you can do this on this frame too, it leaves a big blue pause symbol || in the top right corner that does not dissapear. Whcih would be find for when you play a movie, which the frame can do, but why you would want it on a photo is beyond me, sums up this frame quite well as said before the photo frame is great for its image quality, but it feels like the people who designed the software forgot the whole point of picture frame is to dispaly photos.
