 "Don't Buy - Mine broke after 2hrs!" 2009-11-27
By Ms. KL Mcdonald
Looks great and was looking forward to using it. However it crashed when i was downloading the images and now wont switch on at all...even after pressing the reset button. Wanted it to be a present for someone who is going travelling, to remind them of home. Now am bit fed up as they leave tomorrow and am without a gift!

 "Item not as described" 2009-06-26
By T. Bellenie (Dorset)
The item works and was easy to use, however it is not as described. It says 1.5" screen. Well unless I can no longer use a ruler it certainly is not. It is only 1" which sounds petty but it is not what I was expecting. The seller I purchased this from says it's not his fault as he only sells them and does not manufacturer them. Well perhaps as a seller you should ensure your product as if it doesn't it breaches the trade descriptions act.

 "Great for carrying photos" 2009-01-16
By melwil (Hampshire, England)
I bought this item so my father can boast about his ever increasing number of grandchildren - he loved it and as a complete technophobe even he managed to operate the simple menus etc. Really straight forward and easy to use - we also liked the recharging via a usb port rather than keep needing new batteries.

"Carry Your Photos With You" 2008-11-21
By Andrew Kerr (Scotland)
Long gone are the days where people carry photographs of their family, or friends in their wallet or purse. We're in a digital age where paper is becoming obsolete. Therefore I decided to give this digital photo frame key ring a try.

The 1.5" LCD colour screen has an image resolution of 128x128 pixels, offering high quality playback of photographs. The built in flash memory holds up to 70 photos (in reality I managed to store just under this). It has two modes of displaying photos - automatic slide or single photo view. It also supports photographs that are in BMP, JPG, PNG, or GIF file types. Software and a driver are included on a mini CD that allows you to transfer photographs over via the enclosed USB cable. The software is compatible with Windows XP and Vista. It also has a rechargeable battery build in, which charges through the USB port of your computer.

Using the Photo Frame was easy, so much so I didn't need the instructions provided. I then set about transferring photos across to the device which was fast and again easy. The software resizes the photographs to fit on the screen. It is designed as a key ring, and while it seems robust enough, personally I'm doubtful that it could last an onslaught of battering from neighbouring keys. Therefore I'll simply be putting mine in my pocket where it will be safe.

There are a few failings. My first gripe is with the battery. As I said above it charges through the USB port, but there is no way to tell when the battery is actually full, and even after keeping it hooked up to my computer for several hours, the battery died less than two days later. The photo frame is also quite slow to respond when your browsing few the photos or the menu system.

Cost wise, I think that this is a fantastic value for money item. It cost me only £9.99 and you can buy it from Amazon.co.uk for the same price.

Overall an interesting and useful item, especially for a gadget lover. Granted it's that let down by a few things, but nothing is perfect.

 "poor instructions" 2008-08-31
By mcat78
i bought this iten to store pictures of newborn in a handy format rather than carry around old fashioned photos or the camera. the instructions are rubbish and were no help in downloading photos, they might as well be written by a 5 yr old for all the sense they make. it took 3 attempts for the welcome page to open and still intructions were poor. i guessed in the end how to copy pics. only plus point good storage capacity.
