The screen resolution is in the high spec range of those on offer (look for 800 x 640 resolution as a minimum). The frame is nice too and there is a good range of slideshow options. However there are a few irksome failings:
- you can't pause the slideshow
- you can't have the frame standing on portrait edge
- if you rotate a photo it won't stay that way - for one view only.
- rotated photos are smaller with big black side bands
-the zoom jumps in big stages so not for subtle cropping
- all main functions are on control esp the slideshow and adjustment options (though you can jump through pics on the side pannel) so if you loose/ break your control you are in trouble!
- you can alter the contrast/ colour / saturation etc well but what works for one picture is not great for another and the setting applies to all photos (this may apply to all digital photo frames (DPFs))
- Like all LCD screens if you don't look from the right angle the screen display is not so good to bad depending on angle.
In sum you need to do all your editing, zooming, rotation and colour etc adjusting on your PC/camera before you save it to disk.
I think these comments apply to most DPFs
