With this pair of headphones, you get what you pay for - cheap headphones that don't offer good quality. Don't be fooled by the Sony name that it will offer good quality. I found these to be significantly louder than any other pair of headphones I've owned; so loud that I often had to turn down volume levels very low on my PC to listen comfortably. These headphones broke within a month after falling on a carpeted floor.
BTW, 'silent cap to prevent sound leakage' is merely the foam pad that is given with *every* set of headphones, not anything fancy. :)

I bought these earphones as a replacement for the origional earphones on my mp3 player. They are comfortable, the wire is not too long and they make my music sound as good as the origionals. In all they are an inexpensive set of earphones that do "exactly what it says on the tin."

Great sound quality just as good as any "in ear" headphones
Comfortable
Cheap
Reliable as I tend to go through like 3 pairs a year as I bash my headphones around in my bag etc, but these have lasted over a year now

These earphones look okay and do the job but found that the ear pieces kept falling out of my ears, but the sound quality is good and have to agree the cord is a little short, I have since replaced them with a sony earbud type, and will be keeping these as a spare, I gave them a 3 star as they do the job they are just a basic earphone
