This was a gift for my wife who wanted a way to see our favourite pictures without sitting in front of a pc!
I spent a while checking out the various makes and models but settled on the Philips as I've always felt they take design and usability very seriously.
We're not disappointed. The controls are easy to use and the frame is modern but subtle. Easy touch sentive controls on the frame and a menu driven interface make this easy for all.
My kids are already taking a keen interest and my wife wants to get other music and video clips on it too.
All in all great value and not yet another gadget. This is a well made and designed product from Philips. An eight inch 4:3 aspect is best for most cameras unless you want the widesceen format for everything.

Great frame for the money, very smart, easy to transfer photo,s, video and music. Only downside was purchased frame from Ligo and the package was an awful state, when i opened the plastic courier bag the frames box looked like it had been kicked about the floor for half an hour, didnt expect it to work but it worked fine, when i contacted Ligo as far as they where concerned it was packed enough, even though the courier bag clearly tells you that this is not regarded as protective packaging,just had to explain to the receiver of the present that it was not second hand. Its a great frame and would buy another but not from Ligo, better off spending the extra couple of quid and get direct from Amazon, at least they seem to take good care packing stuff.

For some reason, Amazon lost the last review I wrote for this item. I can't be bothered to churn the whole thing out again but suffice to say that this digital photo fram is pretty good, expecially if you think about prices from a few years back. Recommended.

This is the first digital frame I have owned. It was really simple to set up and the photos look great on it. Only complaint is that the SD card supplied with it is really cheap quality - I spent a few extra quid and bought a decent one to use instead.

My wife bought me this frame for my birthday. I'm perplexed why this frame has had so many good reviews! The photo frame I received wouldn't accept any images unless they were resized first to 800x600 pixels - which presumably would cause some people problems to start with. My main gripe is that I think the picture quality is rubbish! From across the other side of my living room it looks OK, but get any closer to it and the image looks heavily pixelated / grainy. Not what I'd expect from a relatively expensive picture frame. I will be sending the frame back to Amazon. My advice would be not to buy this frame if you have any interest in picture quality.
