The headset is pretty good, but they arent the best gaming headset I had, I wouldnt recommend them if your playing a first person fps game like Counter-Strike. Theres no bass to it, its like its mono.

But, you get what you pay for. They are comfortable, the microphone is good, everyone can hear you.

Well worth buying if you want a cheap headset for a while.

 "Highly recommended cheap headset" 2008-10-27
By T. lee (UK)
I was amazed by the sound quality and comfort of this headset. for a low price you get great quality. the headset can be adjusted easily. some people say this headset is too big, but i think it's just fine, as long as you don't walk out into the public with it.

i've tested the mic out in games and people seem to hear me clearly. the sound quality in games especially is wonderful to hear, especially explosions. the cup design of the phones block out background noise, so that i couldn't hear my parents shouting at me when i was watching a film with them.

i'd recommend this headset to anyone who doesn't want to spend any more than £15 on a headset with a mic.

 "Not worth the quality" 2008-10-26
By R. Barnie (Gairloch, Scotland, UK)
I've had these headphones for a while now and I use them on my computer which could last any length of time between one and four hours. The quality is surprisingly good even at high volumes even though at that level they could be called speakers! There is almost no noise cancellation so every man and his dog will be able to hear you if, like me, you spend your nights wide awake at the computer when you should be getting some sleep. The microphone isn't bad, I haven't tested it much but I recorded some guitar using it and the quality seemed reasonable.

By this time you will be wondering why I have given these headphones such a bad score, well, here's the answer: they hurt. Alot.

After just twenty minutes I simply have to relieve myself and stop my music or my game and take the headphones off. I think they may be more comfortable to someone with a wider head, but since my head isn't exactly the narrowest in the world I don't think this will apply to many people. The part that goes over your head feels cushioned when you touch it and even when you initially put them on your head but after those first twenty minutes I truly believe that, like me, you will be forced to stop what you are doing and head straight for some painkillers.

Another issue I have with these is the way they lie on your ears, if your ears are as big as Martin Clunes' then forget it these are not for you. If you are a member of this exclusive club then you may as well click away from these headphones right now. Seriously. Go on, shoo. Right, good. I don't have elephant ears, nor do I have small growths on the sides of my head that I like to call ears, I just have plain, regular, average ears. The way the headphones lie on my ears is this, the circular padding lies on top of the outer ridges of my ears and makes for great discomfort (although at the point of noticing this the top of my head is in such agony that I fear something is drilling into it).

I'd say take a day off work, go to a shop somewhere that sells headphones and has them out for you to try on (I don't know of anywhere that does this but bear with me). Make sure you have alot of time on your hands and put on each pair of headphones that you are willing to pay for and leave them on for at least twenty minutes, if they hurt, leave them and move on, if not, keep it in mind, write down the make and model and keep testing the other ones. Once you're done, go to the internet and see if you can get them cheaper from anywhere else, buy them at the cheapest price and once you have them, enjoy pain-free listening! Or you could do what I've done and buy a pair of cheap earphones that'll do the same job! Admittedly this wouldn't give you a microphone but it isn't worth the pain.

I recommend Sony MDR-ED21LP Groove shaped earphones (they should pay me for this advertising!) but be warned that they only have a one metre long cable.

"Big but good sound quality with adjustable headstrap" 2008-10-18
By Lou Ann (Staffordshire, UK)
If you can get over the size of the headset - this is a perfectly good headset for the price. THe headstrap is adjustable and the microphone can be moved closer to your mouth for clearer speaking (and lifted out of the way for simple listening).

I would recommend this product for the price and the large headphones block out any background noise.

 "Not only for gaming" 2007-01-30
By William Appleton (suffolk, u.k)
If you can put up with the size of these heaphones they are great, they have a usefully long cable so you can plug them in right at the back and not be restricted.

These headphones are not only great for gaming, they are great for all range of multimedia, instant messaging, video conferences, or simply listenning to music, the headphones come with an adjustable volume toggle which is very usefull, and can go very loud.

The microphone bends so does not get in your way, and the headphones fold up small for easy use. Good product. would reccomend them.
