I'm not going to go into great depth over picture quality and most of the features as most of it's been said before. There are however a few things that new buyers should note.
1. This is no longer supported by the manufacturers, which is why it's cheap! In practice, this means no more firmware updates and the Momento Licve server is offline. What difference this makes I'm not sure as I never got to use the feature anyway.
2. Although this is a wireless device, it does not allow general browsing and connection with network resources - this is crucial, because you should not buy this if you think you can just share a folder across a network and have this device display it. Instead, the device relies on media server provision, which is why the instructions indicate the requirement of having Window Media Player 11 installed so that Windows Media Sharing can be enabled. This may be offputting to Mac users or folks using NAS devices. That said, it is possible to get around some of the issue. I have found that this frame will work with Twonky Media Server for example, and since this is cross-platform, it removes the need for WMP. However, this may put off some folk as you have to pay for it. There are many other free media servers out there, some of which may also work, so it's probably work persevering.
3. The wireless capabilities appear to not be fully European compliant - I had my wireless network set on channel 13 and the frame could not see it. After moving to another channel less than 11, it could. SO beware if you are using a channel not common with US wireless networks. Other people have covered the security aspects re. mixed mode encryption so I won't repeat.

Overall the frame is great. Good resolution, easy to transfer photo's via all means; wi-fi, usb and media cards and looks a good build quality.
Just BEWARE! We bought the frame mainly because of the "gimmick" that you can send photo's via email and MMS to the device. It has been announced recently that this feature will fail to work from 25th February 2009 due to the company closing it's servers down. Also the remote came with a flat battery.

I bought this unit some months ago on the grounds of its quality pictures and wifi capability. Completely ignored the fact that Linux was not supported as hardly anyone does, but you can get most things to work with it.
Firstly the quality is just as good as expected, miles better than the cheaper frames available. Then Linux - massive problem as this unit uses the Media Player 11 capabilities and I was completely stumped for several months - not too much of a problem as it reads SD cards and USB keys as well as the on-line thing. A couple of days ago I came across TwonkyMedia (their name, not mine!) and problem solved. Works absolutely brilliantly.
Only 4 stars as Twonky requires licence.

Got one of these with the intention of passing it onto my Mum for her to see photos from various bits of the family. Had a play with it before passing it on, it's really great. Simple, set up worked for me, wireless connection with Momento web site worked, email to frame works, picture RSS works.
Couple of niggles: couldn't get USB to work, but don't need that. Very slight wobble on the LCD happens, I think when frame uses its wireless connection, but that's just a niggle.
Very pleased.

This frame is fantastic. Forget transferring a subset of your photos to memory cards - just stream your photos over your wireless network. You get to see all your photos at random, and it automatically picks up new ones when you upload them onto your PC. My old frame used to crash frequently on high res pictures. This one doesn't. It occasionally loses its network connection, when you start to notice it repeating pictures, but a quick on/off sorts it out (actually I'm sure its Windows Vista to blame at least half of the time). This is a great device and I highly recommend it if you have basic PC configuration experience.
