These are good ear phones but I find it difficult to keep them in my ears as they are so slippy they just fall out. I have tried to put a strip of elastoplast round them to help them grip but they're not much better. Think the ones which clip over the ear would suit me better.

I bought these as a replacement for my ancient ipod ones which were falling apart and for the price you can't go wrong with these earphones. The good things about them is that the sound quality is excellent and they look nice. However, the ear pieces themselves are a funny round shape and dont fit very snugly in the ear so as a result they tend to fall out frequently when walking or jumping etc. Another bad thing (in my opinion) is the different lengths of the earphone cables. the left cable being far shorter than the right. I know they are designed for the right to go around the back of the neck so they are more comfortable but the cables then just get the in the way and its hard to conseal them in a lecture for example. But other than those points, if your wanting simple, functional earphones for a low price, then i recommend these.

The sound quality is above average, however, to be honest I was expecting more out of the MX 660.



A stronger bass would have been nice and unfortunately, like many other earphones, I have to reposition the buds in my ears to get the best possible sound quality.

I am writing this review 6 months after my purchase, I probably use them 3 times a week for about 40-60 minutes a time and they still work however in the right ear piece I experience what some of the other reviews have mentioned about a buzzing/vibrating sound especially during bass, I don't listen to music at a high volume really so I haven't damaged them like that likewise they haven't had any knocks which would be considered bad during every day use.



The good:





Decent sound quality for a low price, despite there being a buzzing in the right ear piece its something I can put up with



They've lasted 6 months and still work



Good price



Good enough volume control on the wire





The bad:



Right ear piece buzzes



Feel a bit flimsy, especially where the wire goes into the plastic ear piece, it just enters a hole there is nothing keeping it rigid so sometimes it feels like I might accidentally be pulling the wire out of the hole from the earpiece (hard to describe)



Grippy rubber wire making it get caught, snag on clothes and really hard to untangle - there's no need for it to be rubberised its just a nuisance.



Sponge cushion bit sometimes come off the ear piece





Would I recommend them? Yeah they aren't bad for the price, I don't know if they can compete with expensive £50 ones as I've never tried them, all I know is that these particular earphones aren't worth that amount of money but for the £13 I paid to replace the ones I got with my mp3 player I'm glad I got them.

I bought these headphones because i needed a pair that weren't too expensive, so i wasn't expecting anything, really. The sound quality seems good to me and the volume control is pretty handy. They do start making my ears hurt if i wear them over a long period of time, during long car rides and such, but i guess that's expected. I love the little winder and pouch they came with, they're very handy to have! I definitely like these, and i'd recommend them to anyone who needs a pair that isn't so expensive.

I found these headphones rather uncomfortable and lacking in bass - when I tried swapping over the left and right earphones, they fitted my ears far better and not only were they far more comfortable, but, because the earphone was closer to my ear, the sound improved dramatically, especially the bass.

Bought these to replace my wonderful Sony earphones after the right hand one became loose. The sound is great - just as good as my old ones and I cannot fault Sennheiser's skill in this arena. However, my pair are let down by the cheapness of the bag (mine had a hole in it on unpacking) and the tacky foam covers - they never stay on! More importantly is that you need to use these as the "old school" design is so uncomfortable - for my ears anyway. The short cable is ridiculous - way too short to be of any use. The good thing about the cable is the splitter - incredibly well sealed which I'm sure will allow longevity - certainly longer than I reckon I'll be able to put up with wearing them. All in all great headphones let down by the lack of attention to detail.

I purchased these earphones to replace my Sennheiser MX-50 earphones that were becoming tired after 4 years. Sound is top quality, as you would expect, and the extension cable is a blessing. My only concern was one of the foam pads tore on assembly, but the was fixed by using a spare I already had.

Superb sound, very detailed across all frequencies. Bass is full and warm enough, but crystal clear and doesn't take over, a problem with many "bass enhanced" headphones. Mid and high frequencies are extremely detailed, and don't sound thin at all. I used them to replace the standard apple headphones on an ipod, and the difference is huge, seems like a lot of the music elements are lacking with the apple earbuds. I didn't want in-ear headphones, as I use them in situations where I need to still listen to the outside world, but they truly immerse you in the music nevertheless.



Apart from that, quality of the materials is top notch, the plastic of the earbud seems a bit flimsy, but probably down to the fact that they are light, which in turn makes them very confortable, you don't even feel they're in your ears. Cable is very short, but it includes the extension, an useful carrying pocket and a rubber thing to protect them while stored.



I rate them very high indeed, and I still haven't broken them in.

Got these to go with my new Sensa Fuze, based on the other reviews and Sennheiser quality. Not very impressed in fact I should have remained with the earphones supplied with the Sensa which by comparison are superb! Oh well I guess I made a mistake and maybe its in the ears of the beholder. To me the sound is relatively week and thin. Looks like they'll just be used as spares.
