I have a pair of these and I love them. Over the years however, I've come to realise that the choice of earphones is a very personal thing. What's great for me, might not work for you. If like my partner, you find earbuds in general uncomfortable, then these are not for you. I have small ears and I find them perfect. The sound is as I like, not too bassy, pretty well balanced. I forget they're in my ears and yes, the noise isolation works really well.
I'm just about to buy a second pair - pity they don't come with an in-line mic, that would make them my only earphone choice.

I bought these around 12 months ago from Amazon via their Indigostarfish.com merchant. 1 year down the line and they are still as good as when I got them. If you are using the original Apple one's then you really should upgrade to these. They are soooo much louder and the bass is much deeper once you fit the correct size ear bud.
They are a lot better for exercise as they do not come out of your ear. I use them for running and have no problems at all. Sure, the wire makes a noise as it bounces about some times but you get that from all "in ear" style head phones.
My partner also loves them and has now claimed them as hers, so I have just ordered a White pair from the same supplier which are actually cheaper than the Black ones.

Having had many pairs of headphones with three teenage daughters we decided to spend a little more this time and it was well worth every penny. Very user friendly and great quality. I was very pleased that I read the reviews before purchase as it prompted us to make sure we had the right sized foam earpieces. It makes a huge difference to sound quality. Well worth the money and great service from seller.

These headphones promised a lot, and delivered next to nothing.
I was so excited when I found these headphones for such a small price, the reviews looked too good to be true and that seems to be the case.
On first listen they sounded tinny and worse than my iPod headphones. I changed the rubber tips and fiddled with the fit and they sounded a lot better. However, I have to fiddle with them each time I put them in, it takes ages and if they move or get pulled out you have to start all over again. The ear buds have actually caused me a headache today.
Even with the ear buds fitted they still sound 100x better if you put your hands over your ears to push them in further.
The sound quality isn't brilliant, to get a rich sound you have to have the music up quite load and that can cause some distortion.
As I received these as a present I'll put up with them to save disappointing the buyer, they'll hopefully do for use with my iPod in the gym but I most certainly won't be buying anything like this again.
Massive disappointment.
