The NIX 7 inch 'Blue Lite' Touch Sensitive Digital Photo Frame has a design that is thinner and sleeker, with a flat screen finish and a 'Blue Lite' touch sensitive control panel down the right side of the frame for easy thumb control.

Overall this Photo Frame is well worth the money. You get an internal rechargeable battery that saves you the hassle of having to plug it in all the time. It also comes with a hood and stand that is fine to protect it if you have it set up on a desk or table. Touch screen controls are there to help you alter the viewing format. You can use a disc straight from your camera to save time or there is a download facility to connect it to a pc. Picture quality is reasonable enough to say I am very happy with this product. It saves carting a laptop about just to show your holiday snaps to friends, family and colleagues!

It's difficult to load the Internal Memory.

The memory 'crashed' causing a complete lock.

I had to return the frame and order a new one

and then gave up using the built in memory.



Amazon made the return very easy. So well done

Hi, i bought this product for my wife and was excited after reading all the good reviews, but i have found it to be very poor, the image quality is poor even after using high resolution photos, transfering the photos is the slowest thing since dialup, the internal storage must be usb 1, and while editing some photo's on the internal memory i lost connectivity and every picture all 300 were no longer there, the finish around the outside of the frame looks cheap aswell, so all in all im very disapointed.

This was first digital frame ever bought. Comes with convenient hand held remote control and the rechargeable battery allows it to be hand held and passed around without attached cables. Picture quality is fine but when compared side by side with Sony not as brilliant. However Nix is a lot cheaper and the better buy.

Just received the nix TSO7E Digital photo frames, first immpressions very favourable. The picture quality is excellent, instructions are very good and easy to follow. Main priority was the internal Rechargeable battery so that I could take it with a range of photos of our family and pets, to my mother who is in a Nursing Home. To early to establish how long the battery will last on full charge. All in all very pleased.

This is my second Digital Photo Frame. The first I purchased from Jessops and it worked fine but the image quality was pretty poor and it only ran off the mains. I had mentioned this to my very perceptive girlfriend who obviously went off and did her research. When Valentine's Day came, she presented me with this Nix frame. On arrival, I was delighted to see that instantly, the frame and its detachable stand look far superior to other frames with the fat battery pack stuck on. The 2GB Memory was plenty. Though the internal battery doesn't last as long as I had hoped, it's still a great novelty to be able to remove the frame from the mains ocassionally, especially if you need to quickly connect it to your laptop or something. Most importantly, the 500 JPEG's I had stored on my SD card tranferred easily across after having done it via my PC which was pretty straightforward - the image quality is top class.

superb quality hi-resolution image and i love the split screen option showing several photos at once . and you just can't beat having a frame though with an internal battery. the styling is good and the auto rotate sensor is useful. My gripe with this frame though is it would be cool to have music playing at the same time, but no music function. I previously had the standard resolution of this frame which was fine, but i am happy now that i've traded up to the hi res version.

Bought this as a gift for my girl friend, had my initial doubts but after taking the risk now both of us like it a lot especially cause of its internal battery feature so no lugging around a wire if we need to re-locate the frame for a short time.



Pros:

The frame itself is very beautiful and works well both in landscape or portrait modes. The screen is very clear and pictures look absolutely perfect. 1GB internal memory doesn't sound a lot but is good to have as it also supports most of the other major memory cards. Major additions include support for audio and video files. This for me was quite important as it would give me the flexibility to watch some of the recorded videos from my camera if need be. Audio is not the best but to be honest it is good for a PHOTO FRAME. Extra features like calender, clock are a good additions. I like the small attention to detail that the product has got like the stand has a tiny arch so that the cable can tuck under(in both landscape and portrait mode), when switched on it starts with a slide-show if you have pictures loaded, auto-rotation, and most importantly it is very user friendly.



Cons:

I must point out that the touch sensitive buttons are a bit fiddly and can be quite annoying some times. Battery life is about 2-3 hrs. So not very long if you have it ON continuously. Can be a bit of fingerprint magnet.



Would I recommend this to a friend? Absolutely.

This neat digital photoframe can play a slide show with photos either in sequence or randomly shuffled. NIX advised emailing for an upgrade to the shuffle function and this was promptly sent and easily installed. Picture quality is good and I am very pleased with it.

I was given a NIX frame as a gift and when a slight problem occurred with the reader they not only took the product right back without a receipt (or original packaging!) no questions asked, they replaced it with a brand new frame virtually overnight.
